It's Here

Written by Jake Moore

It’s gone

The monsters have scripts

Reading off tales of the apocalypse

The screen showed us fear

Weird how it all changes in the new year

It’s gone

Barren streets all over

We’re all sick from overexposure

Dreams are all delayed

While some people’s true colors are displayed

It’s gone

Losing income fast

The tyrants won’t help people who ask

They all hate their jobs

Zombies preying on any heart that throbs

It’s gone

No one has them checked

Unjust actions from people who protect

We are sick of it

Time to make sure the hand that feeds is bit

It’s gone

Days of old are passed

While a new normal is approaching fast

Hard to see the light

But we all won’t go down without a fight

It’s here
