This past Saturday was the anniversary of the Women’s March last year — a movement that happened across the world to raise awareness to women’s issues and gender equity. The crowd gathered at Public Square downtown at 10:30 and the march began at noon. Along with this there were representatives from conservative organizations who were counter protesting. We spoke to Ann Marie, a Kent State student and one of the many participants about her experience going to the Cleveland march.
