Playhouse Square remembers acclaimed young actor…

An actor close to Cleveland’s heart was remembered this past Tuesday (September 1st) outside of Playhouse Square. Kyle Jean-Baptiste passed away Friday, August 28th in Brooklyn, New York. Kyle was able to play the leading role in Les Misérables Jean Valjean, which is huge if you don’t know much about the world of theatre. Mr. Jean-Baptiste graduated from Baldwin Wallace University and had acquired multiple roles in productions at Playhouse Square.

He will be missed greatly by many which is apparent from the large crowd that showed up in Playhouse Square to mourn him. Many talked and remembered him, some even sang in his memory. It was a beautiful time to come together for a life that was snuffed out entirely too soon.
